Kirk Olson is a medicinal chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Chemist in the Medicinal Chemistry Department at Cayman Chemical since July 2007, Kirk has contributed to various projects throughout the career. Previously held positions include Manager of Medicinal Chemistry and Scientist at Pfizer, where work focused on CNS Discovery for schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease, as well as projects related to inflammation and asthma treatment. Kirk's research background also includes synthesis and characterization of inclusion complexes of β-Cyclodextrin and (AB)n polymers at M.S. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Organic and Polymer Chemistry from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Grand Valley State University.
