Khang-Nghi Dao is currently serving as the VP of Hardware Engineering at Cavnue since January 2023, focusing on building smart road infrastructure. Prior to this role, Khang-Nghi served as the Director of Hardware Engineering at Mojo Vision Inc., where efforts were directed towards developing the world’s first smart contact lens, and at Postmates Inc., where the focus was on autonomous sidewalk delivery robots. Khang-Nghi also held positions at NIO, where responsibilities included managing hardware design for electric vehicles and contributing to the successful launch of the ES8 and ES6 SUVs, and at Tesla Motors, leading the design of critical motherboard technologies. With additional experience at companies like AMD, Microsoft, Apple, and HP, Khang-Nghi possesses extensive expertise in hardware engineering, specifically in the design and development of motherboards and electronic systems. Khang-Nghi holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Sacramento State University and a Bachelor's of Science from the University of California, Davis.
