James Mignacca

President & CEO at Cavelo

James Mignacca is the current CEO and Board Member at Cavelo. Prior to this, they were the Director of Business Development at eSentire Inc. from May 2012 to September 2013. In this role, they helped define the competitive landscape and grow partner portfolio by identifying, assessing and developing new business opportunities.

Previously, James was the Director of Operations at Intelligent Mechatronic Systems from January 2009 to May 2011. James's leadership responsibilities included formulating and executing a customer service strategy to scale and maintain quality service. This included overseeing all aspects of customer service from pre-sales activity (prospect qualification, funnel management, sales forecasting) and pre-implementation planning to post-sales support. Part of this was managing a call centre with 15 employees, integrating customer relationship management (CRM) systems and processes, overseeing in-house, external customer service training, as well as managing contractual agreements with vendors and customers.

In May 2011, James took on the role of Trials Manager / Sales Engineer at Sandvine where they worked until September 2012 when they were promoted to Director of Customer Advocacy. In this role, James was responsible for leading the customer advocacy team which provided post-sales technical support and services to Sandvine’s global customer base. James also managed the product trial program which gave customers the opportunity to test new features and products before they were released.

James Mignacca's educational career includes a degree inGIAC Security Essentials from Global Knowledge Training, a Master's degree in Business from Royal Roads University, and training in Sandler Sales Training.
