Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technologies. Since July 2010, Chris has contributed to SMART Technologies, initially as a firmware engineer before advancing to the role of electrical engineer, where responsibilities include the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris worked as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for forestry machinery. Chris also has teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Chris holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
