Christian Ericksen has been a freelance photographer since 2000, when they began working with Getty Images. From 2005 to 2010, they were the owner and operator of Christian Ericksen photography, as well as the co-founder and primary field photographer of e&b photography. In 2016, they began working as a freelance content producer and distributer for Cole Coffee Inc. In 2018, they began working as a freelance photographer for Shutterstock Custom and Apollo Fotografie {Fine Art Wedding Photo & Video}. In 2019, they began working as a substitute teacher and teacher at Bishop O'Dowd High School, and in 2020 they began working as a freelance photographer for GoDaddy. In 2022, they began working as a substitute teacher for Scoot Education.

Christian Ericksen is currently enrolled at the Academy of Art University, studying Illustration.
