Eileen O'Rourke is the General Secretary at NABMSE since November 2021. Eileen is a doctoral student at Maynooth University, focusing on researching the lived experiences of Black students in a white post-primary school. Eileen also serves as an Education Professional at CMETB and is a CSL Cara at the Centre for School Leadership. With a background in educational leadership, Eileen has held positions such as Acting Principal at Inver College and Principal at Coláiste Pobail Setanta. Eileen has a Doctorate in Education, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, and various other qualifications from University of Galway and Trinity College Dublin.
