Scott Mayclin has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Scott began their career in 1989 as a Cavalry Scout in the US Army, where they served in the field as a Bradley operator during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In 2006, they joined The Eolas Group as a Network Analyst, managing hands-on implementations of network infrastructure across the TOLA region, with a focus on wireless mesh infrastructures and secure network overlays. In 2012, they transitioned to Fulcrum Technology Solutions, LLC as a Network Engineer and Consultant, delivering projects ranging from context-aware network controls for a large refinery to secure consulting for school districts and other clients in Houston. Currently, Scott holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Cavalry Solutions, LLC, a role they assumed in January 2018 after serving as the Vice President of Solutions and Principal Consultant since 2015.
Scott Mayclin attended Texas A&M University from 1995 to 1998. Although the degree name and field of study were not provided, they acquired their education from this institution. Before attending Texas A&M University, they studied General Studies at San Antonio College from 1994 to 1995. Additionally, Scott Mayclin obtained several certifications from various institutions, including CCNA - Security from Cisco in April 2016, VCP-NV from VMware in January 2015, CCNA - Wireless from Cisco in June 2013, and CCNP - Routing and Switching from Cisco in April 2013.
