Esther Johnson is an experienced immigration attorney currently employed at Catholic Community Services of Utah since April 2023. Previously, Esther worked as a law clerk at Perretta Law Office, where responsibilities included preparing applications for waivers of unlawful presence and assisting with asylum hearings. Esther gained judicial experience as a judicial extern for the United States District Court for the District of Utah, focusing on research projects and writing bench memoranda. Earlier roles include law clerk at Stowell Crayk, PLLC, and immigration intern at Catholic Community Services of Utah, where Esther was involved in various immigration-related tasks. Additionally, Esther has experience as a paralegal, case assistant, translator/interpreter, Spanish teacher, and teaching assistant. Esther holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Brigham Young University.
