Spencer Popma is currently the Child Welfare Program Training Manager and previously served as an Enhanced Foster Care Specialist at Catholic Charities West Michigan since October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Prevention and Advocacy Case Manager at Arbor Circle, a Behavioral Health Specialist at Wedgewood Christian Services, and Lead Staff Supervisor and Youth Care Worker at Sunny Crest Youth Ranch. Spencer Popma holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work with a focus on Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, & Substance Abuse at the University of Michigan. An Associate's degree in Human Services was completed at Grand Rapids Community College.
