Maria Tovar has extensive experience in family and child support services, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Family and Child Support Services at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet since 2012. Previous roles within the organization include Family Advocate and Family Advocate Coordinator. Maria's career also includes experience as a sales associate at JC Penney from November 2011 to 2013 and as an accounts receivable analyst at Thomson NETg from 2000 to 2004. In terms of education, Maria holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Lewis University (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from Kaplan University (2008-2010), along with an Associate of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Joliet Junior College (1994-1996).
