Karen Kreger's work experience includes serving as the Director of Finance at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City since 2017. In this role, they supervised the accounting processes of the agency and managed grant tracking and reporting. Before that, they worked as the Controller for a closely held LLC from 2014 to 2016, where they oversaw the financial operations of the company's subsidiaries. Karen also took a sabbatical from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they held various roles at BOK Financial, including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Division Controller, and Senior Internal Auditor. Karen started their career as a Senior Auditor in public accounting and as an Associate National Bank Examiner/Comptroller of the Currency.
Karen Kreger has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business. Karen also has a Master's Degree in MBA with 21 hours of core studies completed from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Newman University. Karen also has several certifications including Series 27 - Financial and Operations Principal from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Series 7 - General Securities Representative also from FINRA, and is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the Oklahoma State Board of Public Accountancy.
