Catherine Weidert is an experienced communications professional with a background in developing and implementing integrated communication plans across various channels. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for Catholic Charities Diocese of Baton Rouge since December 2020, previous roles include Communications Manager at the National Audubon Society and Communications Specialist at LSU Roger Hadfield Ogden Honors College. Catherine’s expertise encompasses brand management, media relations, digital content creation, event promotion, and budget management. Additional experience includes roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, as well as reporting positions with Interactive Content Services and the Louisiana Record. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Louisiana State University.
