Amber Hebert, LMSW, is a seasoned social work professional currently serving as the State Refugee Coordinator and Director of the Louisiana Office for Refugees at Catholic Charities Diocese of Baton Rouge since September 2019, with previous roles including Interim State Refugee Coordinator and Refugee Resettlement Services Program Coordinator. With extensive experience in social services, Amber has also worked as a social work intern at the Grief Recovery Center and as an office manager. Earlier roles include positions in non-profit management, marketing, and event planning. Amber holds a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from St. Edward's University.
