Orlando Nisperos Jr has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Orlando started their career at Lufthansa Technik Philippines in 2001 as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic and later worked as a Structures Engineer and Sr. Structures Engineer (Team Leader). In 2007, they joined Cathay Pacific Airways as a Technical Services Engineer, specializing in structures. Over the years, they progressed in their role and held positions such as Lead Technical Services Engineer - Structures (Nacelles), Procurement Lead (Powerplant and Landing Systems), and Lead Technical Services Engineer - Structures (Airbus). Currently, they serve as the Lead Component Engineer at Cathay Pacific Airways.

Orlando Nisperos Jr completed their Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering with a major in Aircraft Design at PATTS College of Aeronautics from 1996 to 2001, graduating with distinction. Orlando also obtained a certification as an Aeronautical Engineer from the Philippine Regulations Commission in 2001.
