Ivan Li has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ivan started their career in 2009 as a Senior Property Assistant at Hang Yick Properties Management Limited, where they oversaw routine operations for real estate. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Property Officer at the same company, taking on responsibilities such as ISO audit coordination, vendor quotation, and customer service.
In 2011, Ivan joined Cathay Pacific as an Engineering Trainee and later held various positions within the company. Ivan worked as an Associate Engineer in Cabin Maintenance & Standards, where they optimized maintenance tasks and planned cabin maintenance activities. Ivan then moved on to roles in eOPS (eEnabled Operations), serving as a Technical Services Engineer and later as a Senior Technical Service Engineer. In these positions, they contributed to the technical services of Cathay Pacific's eEnabled operations.
In 2020, Ivan joined Bridgestone Aircraft Tire Company (Asia) Limited as a Technical Service Manager. In this role, they led and oversaw the department responsible for conducting aircraft tire performance reviews and reliability analysis. Ivan also worked with the production team and headquarters on optimizing the routine tire retreading process. Additionally, they actively participated in company safety activities and ensured compliance with safety standards.
Most recently, Ivan returned to Cathay Pacific in 2022 as the Lead ENG Business Transformation Engineer, where they continue to contribute to the company's business transformation initiatives.
Ivan Li attended the University of Bath from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering.
