Wency is a communications manager for China, based out of Shanghai.

In her role, she is responsible for marketing, public relations, and communications across the region. Before joining Cathay Capital, Wency was a tech&business reporter and news editor, covering China¡¯s dynamic technology scene. She worked for Chinese self-media Deep Echo (ÉîÏì) and 36Kr¡¯s international arm KrAsia. She has also contributed to Rest of World, Wired, The World of Chinese, Pandaily, Nikkei Asia Review, etc.

Wency graduated from Columbia Journalism School with a master¡¯s degree.
