Armando Chacon Terrazas is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in control systems and electrical engineering. Currently working as a Controls Test Engineer at Cates Control Systems since February 2023, Armando contributes to the design and implementation of automation systems and develops test procedures. Prior to this, Armando served as an Electrical Project Engineer at Hyundai Power Transformers USA, coordinating transformer designs in accordance with ISO 9001 and IEEE standards. Experience also includes the role of Control Design Engineer at Virginia Transformer Corp, where Armando designed electrical and control diagrams per international standards. An internship at Safran, recognized through a competitive selection process, further enhanced Armando's expertise in testing and automation. Earlier experience as an Automation Technician at PACTSA involved designing electrical enclosures and programming PLCs. Armando holds a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua and an Associate's degree in Mechatronics from CENTRO DE BACHILLERATO TECNOLOGICO INDUSTRIAL Y DE SERVICIOS N°122.
