Tim Harr, LSSBB, is a Senior Supplier Development Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. since November 2014, specializing in supplier management and performance as well as the PPAP process. In this role, Tim has been instrumental in developing strategic sourcing strategies for the global Fasteners category, enhancing supply base performance, and ensuring effective supplier management in new product developments. Tim's significant achievements include driving a 94% improvement in the Category PPM for Fasteners and being recognized as a mentor and trainer for new engineers. Prior to Caterpillar, Tim served as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army for over 21 years. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University.
