Tapio Nurkkala has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. Tapio started their career as a Lease Manager at Ruokakesko Oy in 2010, where they handled new leases, lease renewals, in-lease portfolio negotiations, and development projects. In 2015, they joined Newsec in Finland as an Asset Manager, responsible for asset and property management services for international and domestic investors. Their responsibilities included deal sourcing, underwriting of investments, acquisitions and disposals, lease regearing, new lease negotiations, and key account management. Currently, Tapio is working at Catella as an Investment Director since 2018.

Tapio Nurkkala received a Master's Degree in Science (Econ) from the University of Oulu between 2001 and 2007.
