Sophia Chew's work experience includes serving as a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Pharmacy from May 2019 to May 2021. Currently, they are working at Catawba Research, initially as a Clinical Trial Specialist from June 2021 to January 2022, and then as a Clinical Assistant Project Manager from January 2022 to the present.

Sophia Chew attended Wingate University from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Sophia has additional certifications including Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health, obtained in January 2019; Immunization Provider from the American Pharmacists Association, obtained in April 2018; Pharmacist from the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy, obtained in September 2021; and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, obtained in June 2017.
