Courtney Sauer Collins is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel - Litigation at JCPenney since July 2024. Previously, Courtney held various positions, including Shareholder and Associate at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, PC from December 2019 to July 2024, and Associate at McGuireWoods LLP from December 2017 to December 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Trial Attorney at Allstate and Senior Associate Attorney at Alston & Bird LLP. Courtney began the legal career as an Associate at Hogan Lovells and held multiple roles at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, including Summer Associate. The legal journey started with a summer internship at the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, and is a graduate of St. John's School.
