Ted Toussaint is a seasoned professional with a focus on healthcare innovation and community transformation. As Co-Founder and Design and Communications Lead at Generative Local Community Institute since April 2022, Ted has spearheaded virtual events with global thought-leaders to establish a model for community flourishing and systemic change across various sectors, including affordable housing and food systems. As the Founder of CauseEffect, an independent consulting firm since September 2017, Ted provides strategic advice to CEOs of major health systems. Additionally, Ted serves as Transformation Faculty at Catalysis Inc., delivering workshops to enhance innovation capabilities in healthcare organizations. Previous roles include Innovation Engineer at Atrius Health, where Ted played a key role in securing significant funding for innovation initiatives, and Process Improvement Leader at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates. Ted’s early career included positions at Boston Children's Hospital and various educational roles. Ted holds a BA in Physics from Lawrence University.
