Monica Metoyer McCoy, SHRM-CP, has a diverse range of experience in human resources. Monica is currently serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources at the Catalina Island Conservancy. Prior to this, they worked at ABM Industries as an HR Business Partner from June 2019 to October 2021. Monica also held positions as an HR Advisor at Antcom Corporation, HR/Benefits Analyst II at the City of San José, Human Resources Manager at Bauer's Intelligent Transportation, and SR. Human Resource Generalist at SunEdison. Additionally, they have worked as an Accommodations Specialist at Facebook, a Human Resources Representative at Matrix Absence Management, and a Benefits Administrator at both EMI Music and Chipton Ross.

Monica Metoyer McCoy has an Associate's Degree in Psychology from Cañada College. Monica also has an Associate's Degree in Social and Behavioral Science and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities, both from Cañada College.

In terms of certifications, Monica obtained the Veterans at Work certification from SHRM in February 2019. Monica also holds the SHRM - CP certification, as well as the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, both obtained from SHRM in December 2016.
