Shane Clingenpeel has over 10 years of experience in research and development and production roles. In 2023, they began their current role as Research & Development Manager at Catalina Crunch. From 2018-2023, they were a R&D Food Engineer at Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing. From 2014-2018, they held two roles at Kerry: Process Scientist and Production Supervisor. From 2012-2013, they were a Graduate Student & Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, and in 2013 they were a Production Intern at Kerry Ingredients.

Shane Clingenpeel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University in 2012, after completing their studies in 2007. Shane then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Biological Engineering and Biotechnology from Purdue University in 2014.
