Rachel Liebert Lewis is a legal professional with extensive experience in public policy, advocacy, and specialized legal representation. Currently serving as Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at Catalight, Rachel oversees policy initiatives and represents the organization in various workgroups. Previous roles include Of Counsel at Oakwood Legal Group, as well as Associate Attorney on the Sex Abuse Team at Slater Slater Schulman LLP, where Rachel managed numerous sex abuse claims and provided legal counsel to survivors, particularly former foster youth. Additional experience encompasses representation of families in education law and internships focused on child welfare law and advocacy in New York City. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Dance from Barnard College and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.
