Lisa Pariera has several years of experience in human resources. Lisa began their career as a Senior Recruiter/Human Resources Supervisor at Cache Creek Casino Resort in 2008 and held this position until 2015. Lisa then transitioned to Berkeley Lab, where they worked as an Employee & Labor Relations Consultant from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Lisa is the Associate Director, People & Performance Business Partner at Catalight Foundation, where they are responsible for aligning business objectives with management and employees. Lisa oversees the People & Performance Business Partner program and provides comprehensive HR consultation and support.

Lisa Pariera, PHR, SHRM-CP has a diverse education history. In 1990, they started their undergraduate education at San Francisco State University where they pursued an Associates degree in General Education. Lisa successfully completed their degree in 1994. Subsequently, Lisa attended California State University - East Bay from 1996 to 1998, specializing in Political Science and Government. During this time, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree.

Continuing their educational journey, Lisa attended Golden Gate University from 2008 to 2009. Here they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources Management. In 2010, Lisa acquired their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from an institution called PHR. Lisa further enhanced their expertise in the field of Human Resources by obtaining the Certified HR Professional - SHRM (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM-CP in 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Lisa completed a course on "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues" offered by LinkedIn in August 2020.
