Paul Edwards has a solid work experience in the field of Human Resources. Paul started their career in 1991 at Avex electronics as an HR professional, and then moved on to Motorola in 1993 where they held the position of Site HR Manager until 2001. Paul then joined Royal Bank of Scotland in 2002 as a Senior HR Business Partner, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Director of HR at Aptuit (Catalent Pharma Solutions). Following that, they transitioned to Catalent Pharma Solutions, where they held various roles, including Senior Director of HR for European Site Operations, VP of HR for Operations, Quality, & Corporate Functions, VP of Global Site & Business HR, and currently, they hold the position of Vice President Human Resources (Biologics).

Paul Edwards attended Durham University from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a BA (Joint) Honours degree in Law & Politics.
