Cassandra Higham has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and responsibilities in the marketing and strategy fields. Cassandra started their career at BP in 2004 as a Fuels Technologist before moving on to become a Business Analyst in the Strategy and Transformation Team. Cassandra then took on the role of Specialist Grades Offer Manager in Marine Lubricants, where they focused on offer development and implementation. Later on, they became the Marine Marketing Implementation Manager, responsible for the development and implementation of the global Marine offer pipeline. In 2015, Cassandra joined Castrol as a Marketing Performance Manager, where they translated strategic marketing roadmaps into detailed annual marketing plans. Cassandra then progressed to become the Strategy Business Development & Communications Manager, driving transformational change through the development and communication of global strategy. Most recently, Cassandra has taken on the position of Head of Marketing Global Marine & Energy at Castrol, where they are responsible for the strategic marketing requirements and brand activation for the Marine and Energy sectors.
Cassandra Higham attended the University of Oxford from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained their MChem degree in Chemistry. Cassandra'sthesis focused on the Formation of PR3 compounds and coordination chemistry. Cassandra then pursued a PhD at the University of Bristol from 2001 to 2004, with their dissertation focusing on Ethylene oligomerisation with phosphine ligands.
