Susan Shih is an experienced educational leader with a robust background in social work and student services. Currently serving as Principal at Castro Valley Unified School District since July 2020, Susan previously held the position of Assistant Principal. Prior experience includes serving as Vice Principal and Student Services Coordinator at Mt. Diablo Unified School District from March 2007 to June 2020. Susan's earlier roles involved various positions in mental health and social services, including Assessment and Referral Specialist at Fremont Hospital and Psychiatric Social Worker at Telecare Corporation. Susan holds a Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Welfare with an Education Minor from the same institution.
