Sebastian Wallin began their career in 2005 as a Master Thesis Worker at Axis Communications, where they conducted a motion detection survey and evaluation. In 2006, they joined SonyEricsson Mobile Communications as a Development Engineer, where they acted as team-leader for an integration team of 7 persons. Sebastian then worked as an Embedded Software Contractor at ENEA Services AB from 2007 to 2011, where they wrote a AJAX based web interface for displaying data from an embedded measurement system. In 2013, they became a Co-founder of Userbin and a Contractor at Neo Technology. In 2014, they became Co-founder & Chief Architect at Castle, a user-centric security startup that leverages machine learning to detect anomalous user behavior and stop hackers.
Sebastian Wallin attended The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2000 to 2006 and received an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering. Sebastian then attended Y Combinator in 2016 and was part of the W16 batch.
