Jacob Sweers is an experienced engineer with a robust background in aerospace and avionics. Currently serving as an Engineer at Castelion since May 2023, Jacob previously held multiple roles at SpaceX from January 2013 to February 2023, including Satellite Product Lead for Starshield and Senior Avionics Systems Engineer in Vehicle Engineering, where responsibilities included leading testing and training efforts. Notable achievements also include serving as a Senior Instrumentation Engineer for both Dragon and Falcon programs, focusing on acoustic and modal test instrumentation and anomaly investigations. Earlier in Jacob's career, a position as a Student Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins involved performing systems integration testing for special operations rotary wing systems. Jacob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Systems from LeTourneau University.
