Yves Melin is a prominent legal professional, currently serving as the Founding Partner of Cassidy Levy Kent (Europe) since November 2024, focusing on international trade law with operations in Brussels, Washington DC, and Ottawa. Melin contributes to academia as a member of the Steering Committee of the Tax Institute at the University of Liège, developing university courses on customs law in French-speaking Belgium. Previously, Melin held partner positions at Reed Smith LLP, Steptoe & Johnson LLP, and McGuireWoods, specializing in EU regulatory and international trade law. Additionally, Melin has lectured on international trade law at Université catholique de Lille.
