Patrick Creagh is an associate attorney in the firm’s Chicago office and a member of the Appellate practice group. Patrick has extensive experience handling complex civil appellate matters at the state and federal levels, managing all aspects of appeals from brief writing to oral argument.
Prior to joining Cassiday Schade, Patrick worked as a trial attorney for a Chicago medical malpractice defense firm, honing his skills in all phases of litigation, including initial investigation, pleadings, written and oral discovery, motion practice, and trial.
Patrick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Patrick was an Articles Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review. Patrick received the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in Legal Writing & Analysis and then served as a Teaching Assistant in the same course. He also worked as a judicial extern for Judge Daniel Lynch in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Patrick is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois.
