Landon Pontius has a diverse work experience. Landon started their career as a Technical Director at City Beautiful Church from June 2013 until an unspecified date in 2016. Landon then joined Walt Disney Imagineering in December 2014 as an Audio Media Designer and held this role until October 2021. From 2012 to 2020, Landon worked as a Writer, although the company they were employed by during this period is unknown. Since October 2021, they have been working at Caspian Studios, initially as a Creative Producer and later as the Head of Creative.

Landon Pontius attended Full Sail University from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Recording Arts Technology. In addition, they obtained certifications in Wwise 101 from Audiokinetic in 2017 and Wwise 201 from the same institution in 2020.
