James Marren is an experienced culinary and management professional currently serving as Kitchen Manager for Urbandale Community School District since August 2021. Previously, James held the position of Sous Chef at Taste! To Go Catering and Events from September 2016 to July 2021 and worked in various roles at C.H. Robinson from 2005 to 2016, including Account Support Specialist and Transportation Customer Account Manager. Prior to this, James gained extensive culinary experience as a Sous Chef at BRAVO BRIO Restaurant Group and other establishments, along with managerial roles that involved operational and staff training responsibilities. James earned a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Iowa State University, complemented by foundational experience in the restaurant industry since 1998.
