Drew Bennion has work experience spanning almost 20 years and includes various roles in the field of mechanical engineering. Drew began their career at CC&E Engineers as an AutoCAD Drafter, working on drafting and custom setups for power utilities. Drew then worked at Intermountain Consumer Professional Engineers Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer for three years before moving on to work as a Mechanical Engineer at Van Boerum and Frank Associates. Drew worked there for three years before briefly working at Colvin Engineering Associates as a Mechanical Engineer.

Drew then went back to Van Boerum and Frank Associates and worked there as a Mechanical Engineer/Project Manager for almost five years before joining Cascade Energy, Inc where they currently work as a Senior Mechanical Engineer 1.

Drew Bennion attended the University of Utah from 2003 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor's degree with a dual major in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology. In October 2011, Drew obtained certification as an Engineer In Training from the NCEES.
