Benjamin Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning various fields and roles. Benjamin'smost recent position is as a Strategic Energy Management Coach at Cascade Energy, Inc since August 2022. Benjamin began their professional career as a Foreign Claims Processor at WPS Health Insurance from January 2004 to January 2012, where they entered complex data, communicated with beneficiaries, and proofread outgoing communications. Benjamin also has experience in the housing industry, having served as a Resident Director and Night Desk Clerk at Steve Brown Apartments from April 2000 to October 2003. In these roles, they managed a summer hostel program, supervised employees, handled housekeeping and administrative tasks, and provided overnight customer service and building security for student housing buildings.
Benjamin Shaffer began their education in 2009 at Madison Area Technical College, where they pursued a degree in Accounting. Benjamin completed this program in 2012. In the same year, they also started the Liberal Studies Transfer Program at Madison Area Technical College, specializing in Environmental Science. Benjamin concluded this program in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, Benjamin attended DePaul University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. Most recently, from 2017 to 2019, Benjamin studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Sustainable Enterprise.
