Késia D. has extensive experience in the fields of nutrition and health communication, working as a scientific communicator at Casa Publicadora Brasileira since June 2000. Késia holds a postdoctoral fellowship in Human Nutrition & Health at the University of Valencia since October 2012 and has served as an associate professor at Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP) from July 2006 to October 2016, specializing in Human Nutrition and Sports Nutrition, as well as overseeing graduate research. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Health Services at Hospital Heliópolis, under the Secretaria do Estado da Saúde in São Paulo, from January 2005 to July 2006, and teaching at SENAC SP from February 2003 to July 2006. Késia's academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Food and Nutrition and a Master's in Nutritional Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, along with a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from UFOP.
