Jackie Siminitus has extensive experience in advocacy, counseling, and communications, with a focus on supporting vulnerable populations. Currently serving as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate at CASA of San Mateo County since 2016, Jackie advocates for youth in the Foster Care system. At Peninsula Family Service since 2015, Jackie works as a Senior Peer Counselor, providing resources and support to elderly clients. Previous roles include serving on the San Mateo County Civil Grand Jury, a Citywide Communications Intern for the City of San Mateo, and a Social Media Specialist at CareLinx. Jackie has also held various positions at AT&T and the California School Library Association, contributing to library and education sectors. Jackie holds degrees in Sociology and Spanish, Library and Information Science, and Digital Media: Graphic Design.
