Matthew Delgado has had a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Matthew started their career as a Server/Busser at Peppino's Brick Oven Pizza & Restaurant in 2007 and worked there until 2010. In 2011, they served as a Teachers Assistant/Banquet Captain at Radisson for a year. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Chow Fun Food Group as a Barback/Server/Bartender. In 2013, they joined Hilton Hotels Worldwide as a Restaurant Server/Bartender before moving on to Patina Restaurant Group in 2014. At Patina, they held various roles such as Bartender, Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, and Assistant General Manager. In 2020, they became an Operations Manager at Roey's and then served as the General Manager at Roey's from 2021 to 2022. Matthew recently worked as the General Manager at Rosemary's West Village and is currently employed as the General Manager at Casa Nela since September 2022.
Matthew Delgado completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Restaurant/Food Services Management from Johnson & Wales University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued Culinary Arts/Chef Training at The Culinary Institute of America from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew also obtained a Food Handlers Certification from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in May 2016.
