Martin Bartels has a diverse range of work experience in the field of systems engineering and enterprise software management. Martin most recently worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at CAS since 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Contract Programmer at CAS (via Randstadt) from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they were an Enterprise Software Manager at the Columbus Regional Airport Authority from 2012 to 2013. Martin also held several roles at Ohio Dominican University, including Director of Administrative Computing from 2012 to 2013, Enterprise Software Team Lead from 2004 to 2012, and Applications Team Lead from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as an ERP Team Lead at Colorado Mountain College from 2002 to 2004.

Martin Bartels obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Mount Union, where they studied from 1976 to 1980. In 2009, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management from Ohio Dominican University, which they successfully completed in 2010. Martin also obtained additional certifications, including "Learning Python" and "Python Essential Training," from LinkedIn in February 2020.
