Jim Tobin is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in social media and public relations. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ignite Social Media since June 2007, Jim has led the agency to recognition as Social Media Agency of the Year in 2016. Additionally, Jim is the President of Carusele, which garnered the title of Small Agency of the Year in 2017, focusing on high-quality branded social media content. As an author, Jim has published works including "Earn It. Don't Buy It," highlighting the challenges of social media marketing, and "Social Media is a Cocktail Party," emphasizing effective engagement strategies. Previous roles include Partner at Brogan & Partners Convergence Marketing, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and Director of the Political Action Committee for NAIFA. Jim holds a BA in Political Science from Duke University and an MA in Public Communications from American University.
