Simon Darcy has a diverse range of work experience. Simon is currently working at CarTrawler as the Head of Product, where they are responsible for leading the product team. Prior to this role, they served as the Sales Engineering Manager at CarTrawler, where they created and led the Sales Engineering team. Simon also worked as a Technical Sales Specialist, playing a key role in bringing new clients to CarTrawler. Simon began their career at CarTrawler as a UI Consultant and Senior JavaScript Developer.

Outside of CarTrawler, Simon owns their own online business called Simon Darcy Online. Simon continues to work on programming projects in their free time, including games for large brands.

Before joining CarTrawler, Simon held positions at RTE as a Lead Software Developer, Acting Operations Manager, and Software Developer. Simon also co-owned PrizePigs.ie, an app and website dedicated to competitions and giveaways. Additionally, they owned concept4media from 2009 to 2012.

Simon Darcy holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interactive Digital Media, which they obtained from Trinity College Dublin from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Multimedia Systems at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Simon has also obtained several certifications, including "Learn Salesforce 2017: Lightning," "Swift 4 Essential Training," and "Communicating Across Cultures," all of which were acquired on LinkedIn in 2019.
