Jose Alejandro Crisol Gil has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field since 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Programmer and Analyst-Programmer at MSL Software and PROMAINSUR, respectively. In 2006, they returned to ELIMCO SISTEMAS S.L. as a Project Manager and Analyst-Programmer. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Bee Solutions. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Grupo IC in the Department of Informatics for EkipaShop Mobiliario and in the Department of Informatics, where they developed a system for monitoring and control, a Scada system, and researched communication devices and signal capture. Since 2020, they have been a Principal Software Engineer at CARTO. Most recently, they were a Programmer at Oblumi S.L., where they developed mobile applications, backend systems, and deployed, configured, and programmed tests in Jenkins.

Jose Alejandro Crisol Gil obtained their degree in Ingeniero Técnico en Informática de Gestión from the Universidad de Cádiz in 2002. Jose Alejandro also holds certifications from the KNX Association and Schneider Electric, including Partner KNX, Schneider SmartStruxure, and Schneider SmartStruxure Lite.
