Jonathan Yoshida Rowell has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial design. Jonathan started their career as an intern at Orange22 in 2007 before joining Cory Grosser Design + Strategy as an industrial design intern in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Industrial Designer II at frog, collaborating with various industries to design and engineer products and services. In 2013, they joined Google where they held multiple roles, including Industrial Designer for Nexus, Jamboard, and Machine Intelligence. In 2018, they transitioned to Cartier as a Senior Industrial Designer and is currently serving as the Design Director for the lab since November 2019.
Jonathan Yoshida Rowell earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial and Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design, attending from 2005 to 2009. In 2008, they also completed an Entrepreneurial MBA program at INSEAD. Prior to that, they pursued Fine Art studies at the University of Oregon from 2002 to 2003.
