Sonia Weymuller is a Co-Founder and General Partner at VentureSouq, a MENA-based venture capital fund focused on FinTech and ClimateTech. With extensive experience in the investment and media sectors, Sonia has served as a Kauffman Fellow and is an active Jury Member for the Cartier Women's Initiative. In addition, Sonia contributes to sustainability efforts as a member of the Advisory Board for Village Capital and serves as an Expert and Ambassador for THE ARK, a global network for wildlife conservation. Previous roles include Board Membership at the Middle East Venture Capital Association and TiE Dubai, along with positions in advertising sales and strategy at Turner Broadcasting System and MTV Networks International. Sonia holds a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University and an MSc in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics.
