Nahum Maru is a highly skilled individual with experience in various roles within the technology and research sectors. Currently serving as a Research Intern at Cartesia, focusing on training multimodal foundation models, Nahum also leads instructor recruitment at Code.X and has made significant contributions as an instructor in an online summer school for students in Gaza. At Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Nahum develops frameworks for multi-agent systems and collaborates on projects related to predicting economic changes in Malawi and Mozambique. Prior roles include software engineering positions at Pomelo and Microsoft, where innovations in payment infrastructures and AI-based features were developed. Nahum co-founded DAHA, a matchmaking platform, and has a robust academic background from Stanford University and the University of Oxford, pursuing degrees in Computer Science.
