Vincent Seguin currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Carta since September 2022 and has been a University Lecturer at Université Laval since August 2009, teaching courses on web application development. Previous roles include Co-Owner at Cabane.io, where Vincent co-organized a developer conference, and VP of Engineering at Capdesk, overseeing the engineering department and platform architecture. Additionally, Vincent has held positions as Software Engineering Lead at Rakuten Ready and Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead at XpertSea, focusing on cloud platforms and infrastructure. Early career experiences include software engineering roles at Coveo, starting as an intern and advancing to Team Lead. Vincent holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Université Laval, earned between 2009 and 2013. The technical stack includes expertise in Clojure, Java, and Python.
