Brian Wright, CPA, currently serves as the US Controller (Accounting Director) at Carta, managing a team of 12 with key responsibilities in revenue recognition, financial reporting, and technical accounting. Prior to this role, Brian held several positions at The AES Corporation, where leadership included managing the financial reporting and audit processes for 31 annual financial statements and overseeing the month-close process in NetSuite. Brian's experience also includes significant roles at PwC, managing audit engagements and addressing complex technical accounting issues across various industries. Educationally, Brian holds both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Professional Accounting from Brigham Young University.
