Yugeshwar Ponnapillai has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer for CARSYNC GmbH since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist for Jochen Schweizer mydays Holding GmbH from 2018 to 2021, where they developed a product recommendation model using machine learning, improved conversion rates, and created a forecasting model for sales analysis. Yugeshwar also worked as a Data Scientist for mydays GmbH from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they were a Master Thesis Student at SCA - Hygiene and Forest Products Company from 2016 to 2017, where they used predictive analytics and machine learning to predict out of stock and solve business problems. Yugeshwar also worked as a Freelance Writer from 2013 to 2016.

Yugeshwar Ponnapillai has a Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Technische Universität Kaiserslautern from 2014 to 2017. Yugeshwar also has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Anna University from 2009 to 2013. Yugeshwar has also obtained certifications from Aspiring Minds as an AMCAT Certified Software Development Trainee in September 2014, from SSi IT Education in Java and J2EE in January 2008, and Advance Diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking from CSC Computer Education Pvt Ltd. Additionally, they have obtained the GOETHE ZERTIFIKAT A2 from Goethe-Institut e.V.
